INTRODUCTION
Art and design for Typographical structures found around the world.

This project was created for a SCAD class. The task was to create an exhibition catalog with 9-12 works by different artists. We had to come up with a theme, and this exhibition catalog includes work by artists who have experimented with typography in our physical spaces, going beyond the limitations of typography on paper. It shows that designers should not be afraid to take chances.

Inspiration

Typography has evolved from a simple piece of paper to a form of branding, art, and even architecture.

Type Around Us is a show focusing on real-world typography around us. The exhibition explores how letters and their physical surro-undings interact with each other.

Research

The design process was guided by research. As a result, I spent a significant amount of time researching, sitting through, and reading about the world's many typographic masterpieces.

Through this process, I was able to gain a deeper understanding of typography and the various ways it can be used to capture people's attention.

Design

I divided the entire research into two distinct sections, 1 Typography in the surroundings for purpose and 2 Playful typography that engages with the environment, keeping in mind the theme of typography around us.
